The Queen of Katwe (part 2)

Often we feel restricted; seeing the four walls around us we soon accept our position in life. But what if you're were meant for somewhere better? Do you dare to dream? If I win the lottery .... No, that's not what I'm talking about - sorry, but you're four times more likely to be struck by lightening! Think of the dreams that are just in your reach. It may take you several years to achieve it, but time should not dissuade you. It will probably cost you, but nothing great comes easy. Circumstances may oppose, but circumstances can change. Keep chasing the dream. Keep believing for better. Phiona, the slum chess player I referred to in my previous blog, did and became Uganda’s first woman ever to become Woman Candidate Master, the first step on the ladder toward grandmaster.
