This film by Disney is based on a true story about one girl's triumphant path to becoming a chess champion. Phiona, a young girl from the ghetto, is being taught about how the pieces move and, for me, the defining moment of the film is when the pawn promotion is explained: 'the small one can become the big one'. A Pawn (the little man) can become the Queen. Phiona captures this thought and her rise to glory is ignited. My motto for 2017 is 'Don't forget to dream big'. Whatever our dreams are, let us chase them and 'a posse ad esse' (it's Latin!).
