"If you see how he prepared us, and how he predicted the game would go, and you see how it went - unbelievable," These were the words by Van Persie about his manager Van Gaal, after Netherlands beat Spain 5-1 in the World Cup. The question is 'How do we respond to homework?'. A necessary evil ? Yes, it is the opportunity to practice the skills acquired at school, but more importantly it should be regarded as a valuable time to reflect on one's learning. How about extending what has been set? Add a question of your own for the teacher! Reflect on what it is you are actually learning. Like Van Gaal, make 'homework' work for you.
